Mrs. Bilikisu Olaide Adesegun was born on 16th February, 1968 at Agege to Late Mr. Adeyemi Alamu Olusunmade and Mrs. Simiatu Simisola Balogun of Balogun Compound at Isheri-Olofin
in Alimosho Local Government Area, Lagos State. She attended Saka Tinubu Memorial High School, Orile-Agege, Lagos State where she obtained West African School Certificate (WASC) in 1984. Also, she attended Awrar-rul Islam College, Oniwaya-Agege where she obtained Advanced Level Certificate. She then proceeded to University of Lagos, where she obtained B.Sc. Accounting in 1991 and M.Sc. Management in
- She also had Advance Diploma in Forensic Accounting. She joined the Lagos State Public Service in 1997 as an Inspector of Taxes II GL 08 with the then Lagos State Board of Internal Revenue (BIR) now Lagos State Internal Revenue Service (LIRS). She was redesignated from the Inspector of Taxes cadre to Auditor Cadre and deployed
to the Office of the State Auditor General in April, 2009.
Olaide is an associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN). Also, she is a member of International Academy of Forensics. Presently, is a Deputy Director (Audit) and Head of Research and Development Directorate in the Office of the State Auditor General. She is happily married to Prof. Sunday Adesegun and blessed with beautiful children.
