STATE AUDITOR GENERAL’S OFFICE ORGANISES THREE-DAY STAFF TRAINING ON WORKPLACE ETHICS
The Lagos State Government has organised a three-day training programme for junior staff on Grade Level 01-07 in the Office of the State Auditor-General on workplace ethics for better performance.
The training which held recently at the Secretariat, Ikeja, was organised in conjunction with Bold Perception Integrated Resources Limited with the theme: “Workplace Ethics: A Tool for Effective Employee Performance”,
Declaring the workshop open, the Acting State Auditor-General, Mr. Moshood Adewale Adewuyi reiterated the importance of auditors and administrative staff coming together for training on “Ethical Values” and the need for staff to make use of ethical values in the discharge of official duties.
Adewuyi said the effective use of work ethics dictates the productivity level of any organisation, hence, ethical knowledge is very essential for Auditors and the Administrative cadre to acquire in order to effectively attend to administrative issues, whenever the need arises in an office setting.
He explained that the training will cover several topics including “Understanding Your Boss for Effective Performance”, “Public Service Rules and You”, “Emotional Intelligence: Self-Awareness, Record Keeping”, and “Work Ethics for Better Performance”.
