MR. OYEBODE BABATUNDE- DEPUTY DIRECTOR, PUBLIC AFFAIRS
Oyebode. Babatunde was born to the Royal family of Oyebode Dynasty of Okuku in Odo -Otin Local Government area of Osun State. He started his education career from African Primary School, Osogbo in Osun State and later proceeded to Erin Community Grammar School where he obtained the First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC). where he passed his West African School Certificate examination (WASCE) with good grades in 1984. For his tertiary education, he attended Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and obtained a Bachelor Degree (B.A HONS) English Studies.
Oyebode Babatunde started his sojourn in the Lagos State Civil Service in March 2000 as Cultural Officer11. With the Ministry of Home Affairs and Culture before he was seconded to Lagos State Council for Arts and Culture . in 2000.
He was promoted to the post of Cultural Officer 1 in July 2003 and Senior Cultural Officer, GL 10 in 2006. By virtue of my Discipine, I Redesignated to information Cadre, to post of Senior Information Officer, GL 10 in 2006 respectively,
He was later deployed to the Ministry of Information and Strategy in 2006, to the Press and Public Relations Department as a Press and Public Relations Officer . He has worked as a Public Relations Officer in the following Offices: Agric Development Authority (ADA), Lagos Judiciary, Ikeja, Ministry of Housing, Ministry of Works and Infrastructure and presently on GL 15 Assistant Director, Public Affairs with the Office of the State Auditor General as head of Public Affairs Unit.
Oyebode Babatunde is an Associate Member of the Nigeria Institute of Management and also a member of Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).
Oyebode Babatundet is a disciplined worker and a team leader who leads by example.
His Hobbies and interest include Reading, meeting people; acquiring and impacting knowledge. He is happily married with Children.
